if there's ANY word more than 'awesome', i'd use it to describe fallout boy, cos they're TRULY more than just awesome. my ears are still ringing from the concert and my throat still hurting like hell and boy, was it worth it! the time, money, EVERYTHING, was worth every bit of the experience, and to think me and gwen stood for 5 solid hours, waiting, jumping. but it was indoors, fortunately, cos we were kinda prepared for the worst, being weather-proof and all, haha.
this was probably the most insane thing i've ever done for a band, and in my life of course. like the whole thing was just insanity and everyone around you and including yourself was just INSANE. did i say insane? CRAZY. and i only felt normal, like a real breathing human after 11pm.
argh, it was such a pity they didn't sing more!! and all that time chalked up by waiting, waiting AND MORE WAITING... and stupid opening acts which took up hell lotta time AND my patience. saw loser sang though, and that guit guy who did that pick flip thing? cool.
when fallout boy came out and after waiting forever, IT WAS THE SHIT MAN. the whole place was just screaming and pushing around. and we were that close for the whole max pavillion to turn into a moshpit. bloody.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE PETE!!!!!! he's a really really good lyricist. girls, if you have not seen him LIVE once, your life is not worth living, haha. i'd give up all my savings just to see him again, i tell you.
the band REALLY knew how to get the crowd going! and there wasn't anyone, ANYONE who wasn't absorbed by the total awesomeness. i really felt that the whole hour or so that fallout boy performed was unreal, really. and it's soon gonna sink in that i was in the most awesome concert on planet earth and soon after, i will suffer from FOB-and-pete-withdrawal symptoms.
